How Does This Help?
By placing bird boxes around our conservation areas we encourage various smaller birds to call that their home. Smaller birds are vital for our biodiversity keeping insect numbers down, spreading seeds they’ve eaten and unfortunately as food for some of the threatened birds of prey.
All animals have a role to play and with the decline in song bird populations its having an impact on nature itself.
